而这个版本是为了不想购买《MGS4 本篇》只想玩《网络版》的朋友们而发售的。
《MGS4 本篇》自带的网络版地图较少，只提供基本的场地。
听说这个版本提供更多的地图。（说白了就是让你再购买一个。赚黑钱！）

网路起始版是包括全功能及内容的多人模式. 并不是想某些人猜测的Demo或尝试版本........
